AVEC International is a non- government organisation and it’s a charitable Organisation. With its head office in Kampala at St. Luke Church of Uganda, Kitebi Wankulukuku, Rubaga Division. It was started in April 2013 by a group of Social Workers motivated by social work principles of restoring the social functioning and improvement of the quality of life and well-being of individuals, groups and communities in Uganda and the world at large.

Our AVEC is dedicated to empowering the community through practical skill-building. Through activities like candle making and other basic vocational trainings, we aim to equip members especially women and youth with income-generating skills that promote self-reliance, entrepreneurship, and improved livelihoods.
